NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 2001

icomXpress, the leading provider of workflow and e-process management solutions, today announced it is one of a handful of Independent Software Vendors (ISV) to be selected as a Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) Gold Certified Partner. These partners are required to meet rigorous certification requirements and must prove their expertise in a given solution area by providing real-world customer references. icomXpress becomes one of only nine ISV's to be announced by Microsoft in the software products Gold Certification arena.

"Microsoft's success depends entirely on our partners," said Ian Rogoff, vice president of the Enterprise Partner Group at Microsoft. "We will continue to increase our investment in our certified partners like icomXpress to ensure that they keep investing in Microsoft as their technology platform and partner of choice. With our current technology, the new .NET Enterprise Server platform and the expanded Microsoft Certified Partner Program, we have the ideal combination for partner and customer success."

The software products certification program requires ISV's to have a software product that has successfully completed the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000 Server certification. This new program replaces the seven-year-old Microsoft Certified Solution Provider (MCSP) program.

The Microsoft Gold Certified Partner program recognizes those companies that have proven their commitment and expertise in one or more specialized areas when delivering Microsoft technologies. As a result, customers can more easily recognize those vendors that offer best-of-breed solutions in their given market category when considering Microsoft-related IT implementations. The icomXpress software solution, known as icXpertSOLUTION Suite, combines 3 leading technologies to create one powerful e-business process automation solution.

"Our continued relationship with Microsoft demonstrates a strategic emphasis for icomXpress and we are delighted to be one of the few ISV's to achieve Partner Gold status," said Teresa Carlson, vice president of Marketing & Business Development. "Our induction into this program demonstrates that together we will continue to deliver the type of market-leading e-process management solutions our customers expect."
