Comverse To Provide Unified Messaging Technology For AT&T Wireless' 3G Network; Unified Messaging Services To Be Introduced To AT&T Customers

Comverse Network Systems, a division of Comverse Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:CMVT), and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communications services, announced today that it has signed an agreement with AT&T Wireless Services (NYSE:AWE) to provide its Unified Messaging solution for AT&T Wireless' recently announced 3rd Generation network (3G). Comverse's Unified Messaging will enable AT&T to provide its customers with an extensive range of new value-added services. These include unification with mobile email, unified inbox, text-to-speech email, and voice messaging. Under the terms of the agreement, Comverse will also supply its TRILOGUE INfinity(TM) multimedia messaging system to AT&T Wireless for their 3G network.
