Facility Information Systems Inc. (FIS), the corporate-standard enterprise solution for real estate and facility management information, announced the appointment of Jean Boles as product manager.
Boles' hiring highlights FIS' strategic commitment to involve industry experts in designing and delivering its real estate and facility management products and services. Boles will carry on the FIS tradition of harnessing enterprise technology for real estate and facility management results.
Boles will lead the company's Product Councils, which involve major corporations in the design of FIS/FM product features. She will focus on customer satisfaction to ensure long-term successful client results and evaluate technologies that best leverage the core strengths of FIS software products.
Based on the input from the Product Councils, FIS will capture the best practices in the industry and integrate them into the various FIS/FM applications.
"As former president of the FIS Users Group, Jean was an effective voice for our real estate and facility management clients," Chuck Woznick, president and chairman of the board of FIS, said. "Her experience in business process management and operations analysis will be a valuable asset and we are excited to add her to our team."
Boles joins FIS from Xerox where she was the U.S. manager of Real Estate Systems Applications. During her 25-year career in real estate and infrastructure management, Jean has executed or managed all of the activities for which she will be responsible at FIS.
"FIS was the key to Xerox's success in getting control and visibility of 26 million square feet of nation-wide facilities in a four-month crash effort. I was impressed with FIS' product and strength in handling the tough issues that are encountered during a launch," Boles said. "I look forward to enhancing the reach of their products and helping FIS grow."
