Collins & Aikman Corporation (NYSE:CKC) today announced the promotion of Antony Graveney to Director of Information Technology for its European Operations. As Director of Information Technology for Europe, Graveney will coordinate our management information systems in four key areas: Manufacturing; Financial; Electronic Communication; and overall Information Technology. He will be responsible for continually improving the data gathering and analysis functions of Collins & Aikman's European operations so as to achieve organizational excellence. Prior to joining Collins & Aikman in May 2000, Graveney was Senior Application Consultant for Systems Software Associates, Ltd., where he was responsible for implementing efficient manufacturing and supply chain systems for the company.
