HTVN'S Televideo Signs Production Agreement With the Tejano Music Awards; The 21st-2001 Tejano Music Awards Signs Exclusive Production Deal

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 6, 2001
Televideo Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hispanic Television Network (Nasdaq:HTVN), announced today it has signed a production agreement with the Texas Talent Music Awards (TTMA). The Texas Talent Musician's Association is a non-profit state-charted organization whose purpose is to promote excellence in Tejano music.
This agreement is indicative of the new revenue streams that HTVN is creating for its growing network. The financial terms were not disclosed but Televideo management confirmed that the contract would have a positive impact on the company's income. Michael Fletcher, president of Televideo and HTVN executive vice president of Program Acquisitions, stated, "The TTMA contract underlines our position as a solid TV production facility and also follows our strategy to create new revenue and increase shareholder value." The 21st Annual Tejano Music Awards will premiere on Saturday, April 7, 2001, in San Antonio, Texas.

"Their years in music video and programming production coupled with their expertise in event management make them an excellent choice and partner."
Televideo Inc. brings more than 10 years in production accomplishments including creating and producing original programming for Galavision, Telemundo and CMT International Networks. Televideo has provided production services for the Grammy Awards(R), Sony, EMI Latin as well as the creative and production for numerous successful syndicated programs through out the United States. Hispanic Television Network Inc. acquired Televideo Inc. in July of 2000.
