Logictier, TELUS Enterprise Solutions, and Vation Provide Hosted
eBusiness Infrastructures Incorporating Interwoven Solutions
Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq:IWOV), the leading provider of enterprise-class content management software, today announced that three leading Application Service Providers (ASPs) will now provide their customers with hosted solutions based on Interwoven products that deliver the benefits of enterprise-class content management with reduced up-front infrastructure costs. Logictier, TELUS Enterprise Solutions, and Vation, the latest ASPs to choose Interwoven, provide a managed infrastructure solution that support and supplement the development, implementation and operation of eBusiness Web sites.
Analyst firms agree that demand for ASP services is growing rapidly. According to IDC's June 6, 2000 report titled "The State of the ASP Market," "by 2004, spending on ASP services worldwide will skyrocket to $7.7 billion, up from $296 million spent in 1999."
The ASPs will combine Interwoven's best-of-breed software with third party applications and infrastructure to give customers a complete, hosted solution. Customers will have full access to Interwoven's enterprise-class content management platform to contribute, collaborate, approve and publish Web content. Even non-technical subject-matter experts can easily contribute without training. Customers can rely on the ASP's expertise in enterprise application operation, maintenance and integration while enabling eCommerce and content management capabilities.
"Many customers prefer to leverage the strength of Interwoven products while relying on the operational expertise provided by an ASP," said Frank Skubal, vice president of worldwide alliance at Interwoven. "These highly trusted application service providers, Logictier, TELUS Enterprise Solutions, and Vation, give customers an alternative source for enterprise-class content management and open a new market for our products."
Each of these new ASP partners will offer customers a different solution that leverages Interwoven products:
