Federated Announces New Macy's Furniture Gallery in Sacramento

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 7, 2001

Federated Department Stores, Inc., today announced the construction of a new Macy's furniture gallery at The Ridge at Creekside in Sacramento, CA. This is one of several Macy's West furniture stores and represents a continued commitment by Federated to the freestanding furniture gallery concept.

The new furniture gallery will be located directly across from the Galleria at Roseville mall where a full-line Macy's department store opened in 2000. Construction on the one-level, 50,000 square-foot gallery will begin this summer and is scheduled for completion in early 2002.
