Invertix Corporation Delivers Scanix Software to Nextel; Wireless Data Optimization Software Improves Cellular Network Performance

Invertix Corp., a wireless infrastructure software provider, announced today that its Scanix(TM) Packet Data wireless optimization software has been licensed and delivered to Nextel Communications (Nasdaq:NXTL).
Having completed a pilot program in the fourth 4th quarter of last year, Nextel is expected to deploy the Scanix software throughout its nationwide wireless network in 2001.
Customized for Nextel's iDEN(R) network, the Scanix(TM) Packet Data software processes engineering data and recommends network adjustments to improve the delivery of Internet content to wireless devices. Measurements are presented efficiently in both chart and map format for easy data interpretation.
