e2 Communications Elects U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger to Board of Directors; Asserts High-Tech Leadership and Growth

Kay Granger is the first Republican woman to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas. Originally elected in 1996, she is also the first woman and first Republican to represent District 12 in the House in a century. Granger is an Assistant Majority Whip who was recently selected to serve on the powerful Appropriations Committee. In 1999, Granger was inducted into the Texas Women's Hall of Fame and was the first woman to be named to the Fort Worth Business Hall of Fame as Executive of the Year. She is a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, where she served as mayor from 1991-1995.
