Cisco Booth No. 219 Showcases Industry-Leading DSL,
Broadband Fixed Wireless and Cable Solutions

WHAT: Cisco's senior vice president of the Service Provider Line
of Business, Kevin Kennedy, will deliver a keynote
presentation at SUPERNet focusing on the direction of the
global communications industry and New World solutions for
service providers, cable and wireless operators. In addition,
the Cisco booth (No. 219) will showcase Cisco's market leading
broadband technology in the areas of DSL, Broadband Fixed
Wireless and Cable. Cisco solutions on display include the
Cisco VN 5900 Video Networking solutions that demonstrate
broadcast quality video with the Cisco DSLAM 6160, Cisco's new
WT-2750 Multipoint Broadband Wireless System and the Cisco
Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP).

services and applications. Keynote speaker, Kevin Kennedy, is
responsible for shaping Cisco's overall strategy and execution
in the public access market and has extensive knowledge of the
broadband market and its future capabilities. Prior to his
role at Cisco he spent 17 years at Bell Laboratories where he
was responsible for product definition and development,
including packet-switched data, private branch exchange (PBX)
adjunct processors known as Datakit and ISN, fiber distributed
data interface (FDDI), synchronous modems, speech recognition
and voice response solutions.
