Solidify Company's Commitment to Building and Adapting its
Product Offering to Emerging Technologies and Markets
WordWalla, Inc., a leading global language software provider, has joined three key industry organizations to participate in the development and understanding of new, emerging technologies and markets -- the Embedded Linux Consortium, LISA and the Unicode Consortium.
As members of these three leading organizations, WordWalla will help contribute to the latest developments in Linux applications and Unicode standards as it relates to the use and proliferation of new font technologies, and will support and evangelize globalization initiatives. WordWalla also plans to work closely with other members to share information and create alliances with like partners.

The Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC) (www.embedded-linux.org) is a nonprofit, vendor-neutral trade association whose goal is the advancement and promotion of Linux throughout the embedded, applied and appliance computing markets.
LISA (Localisation Industry Standards Association) (www.lisa.org) is the premier organization for the localization and internationalization industry. The current membership of 220 leading players from all around the world includes software publishers, hardware manufacturers, globalization solutions providers, and an increasing number of companies from related IT sectors. LISA provides best practice, business guidelines and standards information for translation and localization workflow, tools and enterprise globalization.
The Unicode Consortium is a nonprofit organization founded to develop, extend, and promote use of the Unicode Standard, which specifies the representation of text in modern software products and standards. The Consortium cooperates with ISO in refining the specification and expanding the character set. It has liaison status "C" with ISO/IEC/JTC 1/SC2/WG2, which is responsible for ISO/IEC 10646. Members of the Consortium include major computer corporations, software producers, database vendors, research institutions, international agencies, various user groups, and interested individuals.
