Steiner Leisure Announces Appointment of Leonard Fluxman as Chief Executive Officer and Glenn Fusfield as Chief Operating Officer

Steiner Leisure Limited (Nasdaq:STNR) today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Leonard Fluxman as Chief Executive Officer and Glenn Fusfield as Chief Operating Officer of the company, effective January 1,2001.
Appointment of Mr. Fluxman
Mr. Fluxman, who has been serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, will now have the title of President and Chief Executive Officer. Clive Warshaw, who has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer until Mr. Fluxman's appointment, will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Warshaw stated: "I am extremely pleased to have Leonard become our Chief Executive Officer. I have worked with Leonard for a number of years, in his capacities as both Chief Financial Officer, and, then, as President and Chief Operating Officer. Leonard's talent, vision and expertise have been principal reasons for the company maintaining its position as the leading worldwide provider of spa services and skin and hair products on board cruise ships. He has also been instrumental in the company's efforts to develop land-based spas and other opportunities. Although I will continue to have involvement in management activities of the company, Leonard's appointment as Chief Executive Officer reflects him becoming the officer principally responsible for the company's day to day executive decision-making and strategic planning. Appointment of Mr. Fusfield
Mr. Fusfield joined the company in November of 2000. Prior to joining Steiner Leisure, Mr. Fusfield was with Carnival Cruise Lines for 12 years, most recently serving as Vice President, Hotel Operations for Carnival.
