new partners AsiaOnline and Haines
Hire.com, the leading e-recruiting company, today announced a series of international customers including Telecom New Zealand, global networking solutions provider Alcatel, and London-based companies Marconi and Reuters.
Hire.com also announced partnerships with AsiaOnline and Haines to sell and distribute its e-Recruiter product to power Web sites in Germany, England, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific.
Global Customers:
"Our greatest asset is our people -- 116,000 worldwide," said Alcatel Asia-Pacific's Staffing Director, Raul Garza. "As you can imagine, we are constantly on the search for people with energy and talent. Alcatel Asia-Pacific plans to hire 1,500 new employees in 2001 to meet the strong demand for leading-edge Internet networking, data and communications solutions. "Hire.com's e-Recruiter technology will help us to proactively build a pool of candidates who are ready to join our team and implement our global vision."
Alcatel, a world leader in the high-speed access and optical transport market, conducts business in 130 countries with 116,000 employees around the globe. Headquartered in Paris, Alcatel will deploy Hire.com's e-Recruiter solution for all of its Asia-Pacific job opportunities (http://greatjobs.asiapac.alcatel.com), in addition to North America which has already been in place.
Hire.com also announced that it would power Web sites for three other major multinational organizations:
-- Telecom New Zealand, New Zealand's leading telecommunications company and online services provider, is utilizing Hire.com technology for all of its automated employment solutions: finding, attracting, recruiting and retaining talent. Telecom New Zealand is New Zealand's largest employer (www2.telecom.co.nz/careerexc hange/index.html). -- Marconi, a global provider of advanced communications solutions, will implement Hire.com's e-Recruiter solution to build a private talent pool and to facilitate employee retention by serving as an internal recruiting device. Hire.com has been chosen to power Marconi's Career-oriented Web sites in the U.S., the United Kingdom and Germany (http://careers.marconi.com). -- Reuters, the world's largest provider of financial information, also headquartered in London, has selected Hire.com's e-recruiter technology for operations in both the United States and the United Kingdom (http://reuters.hire.com/inde x.html).
Global Distribution Partners:
Hire.com has also expanded its sales and distribution network to the global marketplace by partnering with two international firms, AsiaOnline and Haines. These established distributors will resell Hire.com's products to large corporations outside of the United States, giving Hire.com the ability to rapidly deploy its recruiting solutions anywhere in the world. AsiaOnline, through its professional services organization headquartered in Hong Kong (www.asiaonlineltd.com), will resell and distribute Hire.com's technology to companies in Australia, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
