ORANGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 30, 2001
Experian, a leading provider of global information solutions, Tuesday announced the launch of its Advanced Select series.
Unlike anything else currently available in the industry, the new series of shared databases is designed to help financial institutions target specific market niches. Financial institutions can increase profits by improved targeting of pre-approved offers of credit, while increasing the speed to market.
"The Advanced Select series represents the industry's freshest and most robust data set combined with the ability to execute campaigns and analyze results," said Rick Courtheoux, senior vice president for Experian. "It's an all-inclusive system which includes tools for front-end and back-end analysis featuring our Intravue platform, a comprehensive marketing database solution containing industry-leading tools and services to aid clients in managing their prospect and customer relationships."
Designed to focus on specific market niches, Advanced Select provides financial service companies with the benefits of having a sophisticated database marketing solution without the significant cost and challenges associated with building and maintaining an in-house database. The first module available in the series is Advanced Select for Home Owners, with the Advanced Select for Non-Prime and Advanced Select for Emerging Consumer modules to be available in the second quarter of 2001.
Advanced Select offers an environment for storing and accessing client-specific promotion, response, suppression and customer information, which enables improved targeting and decreased cycle time. Proven, easy-to-use tools are provided for all necessary functions from querying and reporting, modeling and analysis, to segmentation and campaign execution.
"The streamlined, easy-to-implement process is faster than traditional prescreening, allowing marketers to deliver the most appropriate offers more rapidly," Courtheoux said. "Clients also will appreciate that the databases are easily accessible on demand via their desktop computers and data can be extracted at any time."
The content of the shared databases includes targeted subsets of Experian's INSOURCE(SM) Database, a state-of-the-art comprehensive, multi-sourced repository housing a full range of consumer marketing information, and File One(SM), the nation's only relational consumer credit database with information on more than 240 million consumers. INSOURCE offers marketers coverage on 98% of U.S. households and more than 1,000 data elements per record.
"We see the new Advanced Select series as the next step in the evolution of Experian's databases," said Courtheoux. "It merges several Experian strengths such as superior data content, analytics and database design."
