At the COMNET Conference & Expo, NetIQ Corp. (Nasdaq:NTIQ), a leading provider of e-business infrastructure management software, today announced AppManager(R)for Web Services, a new module in the NetIQ AppManager Suite of applications and systems management solutions. The NetIQ AppManager for Web Services module will be shown this week at COMNET 2001 in Washington, D.C. -- Booth No. 1656.

AppManager for Web Services is a powerful solution that verifies the availability and health of key Web sites and services from the end-user perspective by allowing Web administrators to "record" Web transactions, such as purchase of items via an on-line shopping cart, and continuously play the transactions back alerting for steps in the transaction that fail or have poor performance. Used in conjunction with other AppManager modules that monitor the performance of back-end servers, databases and Web-based applications, AppManager for Web Services delivers a holistic management solution for Web systems -- correlating end-user experience with performance data from within the data center.

Availability
