Business Wire, Jan 30, 2001
WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 30, 2001
Integration between DOORS and Corporate Modeler links Project
Requirements With Business Goals
CASEwise (www.casewise.com) and Telelogic (www.telelogic.com) today announce integration between Telelogic's market leading requirements management suite and the best in class enterprise modeling solutions from CASEwise.
This integration, between DOORS 5.0 and Corporate Modeler 2000, will enable users to create and update associations between DOORS managed requirements and Corporate Modeler processes. This ensures that project requirements are always aligned with their relevant business goals. The flexibility of DOORS to capture all types of requirements, from business objectives through advanced systems and software requirements, coupled with Corporate Modelers' capability to describe processes at any level within the organization means that processes and requirements are in lockstep regardless of the level of application.
"Bringing together requirements management and business process modeling makes a lot of sense since they are both key to the success of strategic real time software initiatives such as ERP implementations, e-business transformations, and application development," said George Keeling, President and Founder of CASEwise. "CASEwise is extremely pleased to be working with Telelogic given the technical strength and market leadership of Telelogic DOORS.
"Telelogic's DOORS customers have already gained tremendous value by using our suite of tools to capture, track and manage systems and software requirements throughout a project's lifecycle," said Bill Colacurcio, strategic alliances program manager at Telelogic. "And now, thanks to a tight integration with the leading process modeling solutions from CASEwise, they will also have the capacity to manage all levels of requirements in the context of associated corporate, project and software objectives."
