Record 300 Public and Private Companies to Present At J.P. Morgan

H&Q's 19th Annual Healthcare Conference

More than 5,000 institutional and venture capital investors from the U.S., Europe and Asia will participate in investment banking's largest and most comprehensive healthcare meeting when J.P. Morgan H&Q's 19th Annual Healthcare Conference opens on Monday, Jan. 8 for four days in San Francisco.

Over 220 publicly traded and 80 privately held companies, representing all major healthcare and life science sectors, will make presentations to investors. J.P. Morgan H&Q securities analysts will conduct special panels on pharma 2001, drug delivery technologies, biologics manufacturing and long-term care.

Daniel H. Case III, head of J.P. Morgan H&Q's West Coast Operations and global investment banking activities in Technology, Media, Telecommunications and Life Sciences will deliver the opening address on Monday, Jan. 8. Arthur D. Levinson, Ph.D., Chairman and chief executive officer of Genentech, Inc. will deliver the keynote address at Monday's luncheon on Jan. 8.
