The Timeport 270 received the CES "Best of Show" Award,
winning the highest score in its category. The Timeport 270
is Motorola's first Bluetooth(TM)-capable phone. Bluetooth
wireless technology, expected to revolutionize the personal
connectivity market, provides links between mobile computers,
mobile phones, and other portable handheld devices and
connectivity to the Internet without wired connections. Other
unique features of the Timeport 270 include a 4-way
navigation "joy stick," integrated hands-free speakerphone
   and a six-line, graphical display.

   Honors

For consumers who are specifically looking for a convenient way to
experience texting and mobile voice communication, Motorola's V100
operates on a GSM protocol, and combines text messaging, e-mail,
phone functionality and Internet browsing with a QWERTY keyboard.
The keyboard allows users to compose text messages with ease, and
also doubles as a phone pad for call dialing. For hands-free
calls, users can utilize the V. Series V100's headset and voice
activation technology. Users can also check breaking news, get
real-time stock quotes, and access Internet information with the
   V. Series V100's WAP Microbrowser.

-- Motorola Accompli, model 009 -- Innovations 2001 Honors

The Motorola Accompli 009 uses tri-band GSM technology to enable
consumers to stay connected while on the road in Europe, the
Middle East, Asia, Africa or the Americas. In addition, the
Accompli 009 incorporates GPRS technology, providing consumers a
constant connection to the Internet. With the Accompli 009
consumers can send and receive wireless email and SMS messages,
as well as transmit quick notes or simply place a phone call

radio family, these radios bring both versatility and endless
possibilities to the old notion of walkie-talkies. These
compact, rugged, water resistant devices cram in more
functionality than ever before. New features include weather
broadcasts, weather alerts, a VibraCall(R) alert feature, an
eavesdrop reducer feature for more privacy, and rechargeable
models with a charging dock. The entire series has been
ergonomically designed for ease of use during both urban and
outdoor two-way adventures. Additional features in the line

professional; sending and receiving email, exchanging
messages with other two-way PICs, sending group messages,
accessing server-based information, or beaming contacts and
appointments to other devices. With the Timeport P935, users
can manage contacts, appointments and tasks to organize
business schedules and store messages, important data and
   special events in multiple-user-customizable folders.
