Samsung Electronics, a leading provider of consumer electronics products and services, and Voquette, the leader in the delivery of personal Web audio for business, today announced a relationship to provide streaming audio playback capabilities to the Samsung YEPP(TM) digital audio players.

The YEPP players are enabled to support the Voquette Media Manager(TM) and Microsoft NT, making it an ideal audio product for business professionals and enterprise applications. Through the Voquette Media Manager, Samsung users can customize and record informative Web audio programs including The Wall Street Journal headlines, RadioWallStreet CEO interviews, CNET Radio headlines and other content from Voquette's more than 60 partners. Samsung's YEPP players come with 64MB memory and can store up 2 hours of CD quality music or up to eight hours of spoken word audio from sources such as Internet radio, Webcasts, audio books or recorded training sessions.

"Business professionals are becoming increasingly reliant on news and information in Web audio format, and with Voquette, YEPP users can access exactly the audio they want from the best business sources on the Web," said Russell Bleeker, Manager of Digital Convergence for Samsung Electronics. "Voquette extends the value of the YEPP player beyond music listening and makes it a powerful tool for increasing productivity in a business setting."

"Samsung is on the cutting edge of consumer device innovation, and we believe the YEPP digital audio player with its Microsoft NT support offers a major opportunity for personal Web audio in a business setting," said Philip J. Monego, Sr., Voquette chairman and CEO.
