Pathlight's SAN Gateway Qualified for EMC's Enterprise Storage Networks

Pathlight Technology, Inc. today announced that EMC Corporation, the world leader in information storage, has qualified Pathlight's SAN Gateway(TM) complete storage networking solution as EMC (R) E-Lab Tested. EMC's E-Lab Tested qualification program is part of the EMC E-Infostructure(TM) Interoperability Program, an exacting testing program designed to ensure the interoperability of third party products within the EMC Enterprise Storage Network (ESN(TM)). Pathlight SAN Gateway provides a high-speed, high-reliability infrastructure for linking EMC products in easy-to-deploy and manage storage networks.

To achieve the EMC E-Lab Tested designation, Pathlight's SAN Gateway successfully completed EMC's renowned stress testing program. The interoperability stress tests integrate EMC's hardware and software along with Pathlight's SAN Gateway in enterprise data center configurations using real-world I/O traffic loads. Error and failure conditions are introduced to test SAN Gateway's error, exception-handling and error-recovery capabilities while under load.
