Strategic Alliance Merges World-Class Business Process Outsourcing
And Technology Management
Interpath, an established, full-service application service provider/application infrastructure service provider, today announced a strategic alliance with Deloitte & Touche Outsourcing (DTO), a business unit of Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Together the two organizations will provide complete preconfigured technology solutions that incorporate DTO's world-renowned best practices, business process outsourcing and application outsourcing experience with Interpath's secure managed applications hosting and delivery environment.
The alliance was formed so that companies can focus on their core competencies by outsourcing functions to secure outsourced providers. Prospective customers interested in finding world-class business process technology advice, implementation and ongoing management have, to this point, been without a single point of contact. Professional services organizations and application service providers have each generally been regarded as equipped to provide one piece of the puzzle, but until now, neither has been able to offer a complete solution to mid-sized and fast-growth companies.
DTO and Interpath will target their services at mid-sized organizations that want to reach the next level with speed and intelligence. DTO will continue to implement, integrate and manage key enterprise applications, such as those by JD Edwards, Lawson and Solution 6 (formerly known as CMS Open) among others, for its clients. Through its affiliation with Interpath, however, DTO will gain the capability to host and deliver these software services as well, using Interpath's secure, state-of-the-art data centers and wholly owned infrastructure.
"DTO's alliance with Interpath targets enterprises that have put themselves on the fast track to join the Fortune 1000," said Mike Stipa, national director of application outsourcing for DTO. "These companies, by their very definition, are required to focus all their attention on their core competencies. They can scarcely afford to devote precious time or revenue to initiatives that can be offloaded to organizations better equipped to handle them faster, better, and for less money. Together, DTO and Interpath help these extremely aggressive companies gain a new competitive advantage and provide the ability to effectively manage change and increasingly complex applications through a single point of contact."
DTO Powered By Interpath
Organizations will no longer be forced to commit resources to the training and re-training of an IT staff made necessary by in-house technology solutions, nor will they have to break their budget by paying exorbitant licensing fees to implement business critical software solutions. "DTO Powered by Interpath," as the alliance will be known, will enable these companies to seamlessly integrate complete business process services and infrastructure with their existing legacy applications on an ongoing, hosted basis, all through a single point of contact.
"Interpath and DTO are an extremely good match, and an example of the sum being greater than either of the individual parts," said Joel Schleicher, chairman and CEO of Interpath. "This alliance combines DTO's renowned business process engineering and technology consultancy with Interpath's world-class infrastructure and technology to give customers access to a complete outsourced package solution."
Greg Arend, national director of business process outsourcing for DTO comments that, "Interpath provides both DTO and our customers with the necessary level of comfort regarding the safety of the data that they are entrusted with." Arend further added, "through our alliance with Interpath, DTO can now address its customers' business process outsourcing needs with one of the most innovative and client-focused offerings in the market."
