Two-Disc Set Includes One-Hour Video Interview With the 'Red Rocker'

Image Entertainment Inc. (Nasdaq:DISK), a leading licensee and distributor of DVD programming in North America, today announced the Aug. 7 street date of "Sammy Hagar & the Waboritas: Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash Tour" on DVD and VHS.

The DVD release will be a two-disc set that includes a revealing one-hour video interview with the rock icon plus exclusive footage from his famous Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Sammy Hagar has sold over 40 million albums worldwide including 15 solo records, six with Van Halen and two with Montrose. Image Entertainment's release captures Hagar and the Waboritas featuring Victor Johnson on guitar; Mona on bass; Jesse Harms on keyboards, and David Lauser on drums, in Chicago during Sammy's Birthday Bash Tour.

The concert is signature Sammy Hagar featuring three decades of rock and roll anthems including "I Can't Drive 55," "Little White Lie," "There's Only One Way to Rock," "Eagles Fly," "Three Lock Box," "Mas Tequila, "Finish What Ya' Started," "Why Can't This Be Love," and "Heavy Metal." The two-disc DVD release includes DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks.

International video sales of the title will be handled through Image's joint venture partner, Aviva International LLC.
