NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2001
Plural, Inc. announced today that it has joined Intel's e-Business Solutions Provider (eBSP) Program, a worldwide web integrator-focused initiative that provides businesses with a source for "best of breed" eBusiness solutions running on the Intel(R) platform.
Intel and Plural signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining program commitments and an overall agreement to work together to deploy Intel architecture-based applications and solutions, from the front-end through the data center.
"Companies today cannot afford to assume extra risk when investing in their e-Businesses; they need to partner with proven vendors," said Neil Isford, President and CEO of Plural, an eBusiness consulting and development firm. "Plural has twelve years of experience delivering Intel-based solutions to companies large and small. This formal partnership with Intel gives us enormous marketing leverage as well as access to Intel's wide range of complementary technical skills and service offerings, helping us drive the next wave of eBusiness success for our clients."
As a member of the program, Plural now has access to Intel labs, engineers, technical marketing support, training and certification programs, Intel's comprehensive database of collateral, white papers and solution briefs, as well as to Intel hardware, software, and networking products. The program also provides cooperative marketing support and a spot on Intel's eBusiness Center web site. In addition, there are matchmaking opportunities among multiple vendors, including original equipment manufacturers, independent software vendors, and internet service providers.
"Intel's eBSP Program provides web integration experts with the tools and technical information they need to offer best of breed eBusiness solutions built on Intel architecture," said Erik Steeb, director of Intel's Business Development Organization. "We are excited to work with Plural, a great firm with a long history of working hard to make the Intel architecture the platform of choice and an internet infrastructure standard."
