ECCS, Inc. (NASDAQ SmallCap:ECCSC), an industry leader in fault-tolerant, cost-effective enterprise storage solutions, has changed its name to Storage Engine, Inc. (www.storageengine.com).
The company's Board of Directors and the Company's shareholders approved the adoption of its new name allowing the transition to begin immediately. The security will begin trading on Nasdaq under the trading symbol NASDAQ SmallCap: SENGC effective Monday, July 23, 2001.
The Company believes that this name, Storage Engine, Inc., more accurately reflects the Company's current business strategy and upcoming product introductions. The name change will give the Company a clearer identity within the storage industry and other industries into which the Company sells products. We believe this will allow us to develop more extensive brand-name recognition and success in the marketplace through the consistent use of the Storage Engine name.
Under the new name, Storage Engine, we will continue to provide our existing and new customers with the outstanding products and excellent services for which the Company has become known.
