Liz Schwabedissen with Adorno & Zeder has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way in Miami-Dade County.

Ms. Schwabedissen has chaired several committees in the past within the United Way Organization such as the Board of Directors' Executive Committee and is currently the Chair of the Resource Management committee. She formerly served as Chair of the Emergency Food and Shelter Committee, which conducted a field of service grants study and Ms. Schwabedissen made recommendations to the board to fund the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, New Life Family Center and Homestead Soup Kitchen. In addition, she has served in numerous funding committees including this year, she serves in The Homeless Targeted Impact Funding Subcommittee.
