SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 16, 2001
Allegis(TM) Corporation (www.allegis.com), the leading independent provider of partner relationship management (PRM) solutions, today announced that Logitech, an international market leader in human interface devices that provide an intuitive link between people and the digital world, has deployed the Allegis eBusiness Suite(TM) to foster further growth in U.S. channel sales.
In a campaign designed to enhance its extensive relationships with an estimated 700 top-tier resellers and help them sell more effectively, the company recently initiated a new program called Partner Select. Core to the program is the establishment of a new web-based PRM solution from Allegis, which complements Logitech's internal channel management processes, by giving its partners an additional tool to access to critical sales information that will help them close business in a more timely manner.
"Logitech's indirect sales channel is a key area for revenue growth," said Collette Bunton, vice president of sales and marketing at Logitech. "The Allegis eBusiness Suite provides all the elements necessary for us to streamline our channel processes. We have already realized ROI through improved partner communication, better marketing funds management, and reduced sales administration. All of these benefits add up to giving both our internal staff and our partners a new competitive edge in the channel and the ability to spend more time servicing customers."
"Logitech is known worldwide as a leader in computer peripheral products and marketing strategies," said Mark Morrissey, vice president of marketing at Allegis. "In a market where continual innovation is a requirement, we believe that the company has taken another major step forward with the Partner Select channel program. We are encouraged that an industry leader such as Logitech chose Allegis as its PRM vendor of choice, and we're looking forward to a long-term partnership."
