Business Wire, July 16, 2001

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 16, 2001

As far as awards banquets go, this was a clean sweep. Once honored by having its Southwest Airlines annual report placed in the Smithsonian Institution's permanent annual report collection, CROXSON Design again has been recognized for outstanding corporate identity and annual report concepts, design and production by winning top honors in award competitions sponsored by the Houston chapters of International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and Association for Women in Communications (AWC).

In addition to local chapter awards, CROXSON announced that its corporate identity design for NetworkOil was featured in "The Big Book of Corporate Identity Design," a best-selling graphics journal published by David E. Carter. The book is a global overview of outstanding corporate identity programs in use today.

"Our primary mission is to use creative design to enhance the perceptions of our clients' brands," said Stephen Croxson, president of CROXSON Design. "This is absolutely essential in annual report design when communicating to shareholders and the Wall Street community, a critical audience for any public company."

In addition to sweeping top honors in annual report design in the three awards contests, CROXSON also brought home first place honors in the categories of corporate identity, print advertising and print announcements. The firm also was awarded for collateral brochure design.

"Although insightful design generally drives our end product, we are proud our clients place equal value on the strategic counsel we provide in the entire marketing communications process," said Croxson. "We believe our mission as a strategic design firm is accomplished only when that end product enhances the value of our clients' brands."
