Component in $2.4 Billion U.K. Bowman Programme
Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), as part of the CDC Systems U.K. Limited team, has been selected as the preferred high frequency (HF) Subsystem Supplier for the United Kingdom's Bowman Tactical Radio Programme. The overall prime contract value to CDC Systems U.K. Limited is $2.4 billion (1.7 billion pounds). The U.K. Ministry of Defence (MOD) has described the Bowman Programme as one of the most important land-based military projects in recent U.K. history.
