WHAT:            The monthly meeting of the Gulfstream Chapter of PRSA
                 will tour NBC 6's new state of the art facility
                 followed by a discussion of crisis communications
                 techniques, how to deal with the everyday crises that
                 can strike any company and effective communicating
                 with the media, the community and employees.

WHO:             Roland Steadham, NBC 6's chief meteorologist will
                 discuss the role the media plays in a hurricane
                 situation. Andy Rubin, APR, president of Winslow
                 Rubin Communications and past president of Gulfstream
                 PRSA, will lead a discussion on crisis communications
                 techniques.

WHEN:            Tuesday, July 24, 2001
                 Check-in 5:30 p.m., tour begins 5:45 p.m.,
                 program begins 6:30 p.m.

WHERE:           NBC 6 Studios, Miramar
                 Take I-595 west to I-75 South to Miramar Pkwy East,
                 turn left onto SW 27th St., Peacock Plaza.

COST:            $20 members, $25 non-members, $15 students
                 Includes refreshments, no shows will be billed.
