The Thomson Corporation Increases Commercial Paper Program to Cdn.$1 Billion

The Thomson Corporation (TSE:TOC) announced today that it has increased its Commercial Paper Program from Cdn.$500 million to Cdn.$1 billion. The dealers involved in The Thomson Corporation Commercial Paper Program are CIBC World Markets Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and TD Securities Inc.
The Thomson Corporation, with 2000 revenues of approximately US$6 billion, is a leading global e-information and solutions company in the business and professional marketplace. The Corporation's common shares are listed on the Toronto and London stock exchanges.
