Randy Moss, who just inked an eight-year, eight-figure contract to continue his career with the Minnesota Vikings, was also recently named as part of a 12-figure deal -- action figures that is.

Moss will be part of McFarlane's Sports Picks(TM) NFL football figures series 1, officially licensed by both the NFL and Players Inc.

The line will hit store shelves in September.

McFarlane Toys, which is also the master toy licensee for America's top-grossing film, "Shrek," now brings its award-winning style to America's favorite sport by releasing action figures highlighting some of today's most recognizable NFL stars.

The figures, which feature McFarlane Toys' traditional picture-perfect facial likenesses, come with authentic game apparel and gear complete with grass and mud stains, and official team logos.

Besides Moss, who is depicted running full-stride with arms outstretched as if awaiting a Daunte Culpepper pass, the line features Emmitt Smith, Dallas Cowboys; Edgerrin James, Indianapolis Colts; Kurt Warner, St. Louis Rams; Warren Sapp, Tampa Bay Buccaneers; and Eddie George, Tennessee Titans.

A second line, slated for November, will include Culpepper, as well as Marshall Faulk, St. Louis Rams; Wayne Chrebet, New York Jets; Mark Brunell, Jacksonville Jaguars; Marvin Harrison, Indianapolis Colts; and Brian Urlacher, Chicago Bears.

Each of the 12 figures stands approximately 6 inches tall and is posable in a signature stance on a football field base, and should have a retail cost between $8 and $10.
