Aros Corporation Completes Asset Sale of APACHE's Clinical Outcomes Business to Cerner Corporation

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 5, 2001
Aros Corporation, formerly APACHE Medical Systems, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board:AMSI) today announced that it has completed the sale of substantially all of its assets and certain of its liabilities relating to the APACHE clinical outcomes business to Cerner Corporation (NASDAQ: CERN). Aros Corporation received $3.550 million in cash, subject to post-closing adjustments.
Aros has embarked on a new strategic direction focused on the medical coding business. The company acquired its first medical coding with its purchase of MetaContent, Inc., a company based in Denver, Colorado that develops and markets data management solutions for health care providers. Additionally, Aros Corporation has entered into a non-binding letter of intent for the acquisition of a second company in the medical coding business
