TORRANCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 2001
Ulead Systems Inc., a leading developer of image editing, video editing and Web graphics software, today announced the introduction of Ulead Animation.Applet 2.0, a new version of this versatile Web animation tool, and Ulead Menu.Applet 1.0, a new application devoted to creating sophisticated menus for Web sites.
Both creative Web tools add pizzazz to Web sites with minimal effort and maximum impact.
Ulead Animation.Applet and Ulead Menu.Applet make it easy for anyone to create sophisticated Java-based menus and animations. With Animation.Applet, it only takes a few clicks for Web designers or enthusiasts to customize up to 39 professional-quality effects, including an expanded variety of banner effects and new effects such as lightning, snow and explosion. Ulead Menu.Applet adds a dynamic touch to Web sites by integrating professional-quality slider and pop-up menus into new or existing Web projects.
"Ulead saves Web designers and enthusiasts time by giving them two applications to help them create professional-looking, high-end Web effects that do not require Java coding knowledge," stated Rachel Hess, product marketing manager at Ulead Systems. "Interactive Web animations and sophisticated menus give Web sites a polished look while keeping readers interested in the content."
Ulead Animation.Applet offers designers a way to let their reader interact with elements on a Web page. Interactive options include setting hyperlinks in an animation to help visitors navigate through a site or creating mouseover responses for various image and text elements.
Animation.Applet provides a simple tab-based interface with Compose and Preview modes so designers can quickly start creating slick animations and make changes as needed during the creation process. Exact timeline control allows designers to set animation duration as well as start and end points or infinite looping of an animation sequence.
Ulead Menu.Applet integrates professional quality slider and pop-up menus into new or existing Web projects using a simple tab-based interface with drag-and-drop control of items for fast creation of menus. Additionally, Menu.Applet provides an intuitive way to manage, organize and view menus and sub-menus.
Pricing and Availability
Both programs are available from www.ulead.com. The price for Ulead Animation.Applet is $39.95, and Ulead Menu.Applet is available for $29.95. Designers can purchase both programs as the Java Applet Suite for $49. Owners of JavaRazor may purchase the Java Applet Suite as an upgrade for $29.
