Released simultaneously with Myst III: Exile, the Myst III: Exile Collectors Edition reached the top ten in unit sales and the top five in dollar sell-through for the same weeks. Myst III: Exile also ranked number one in PC software sales on amazon.com at its release, and the Collectors Edition hit number five on the same list.
