Entrepreneurship's CEO Global Breakfast Series
Geoffrey Moore, chairman/founder of The Chasm Group, will talk June 13 at Santa Clara University's CIE "CEO Global Breakfast" about answers he discovered writing his latest book, "Living on the Fault Line": how pre-Internet and dotcomers can manage for shareholder value in an Internet-dominated world.
From a long vantage of high-tech marketing experience, Moore offers strategies and tactics that toss out dated management truths and create new business models to accommodate shifts in the competitive advantage hierarchy. In "Crossing the Chasm" he tells how to cross the gap and reach lucrative mainstream markets. In "Inside the Tornado" he shows ways those who cross must shift market strategies to succeed. In "The Gorilla Game" he, Tom Kippola and Paul Johnson offer a coherent approach to high-tech stock investing and holding.
Moore is a partner in Mohr, Davidow Ventures, which specializes in e-commerce, Internet, enterprise software, networking and communications and semiconductors. He was formerly a principal and partner at Regis McKenna Inc. and sales and marketing exec at Rand Information Systems, Enhansys, and Mitem.
