SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2001

Millennium Jet, Inc., a Silicon Valley aerospace startup company, today announced it will be exhibiting its paradigm-shifting product, SoloTrek(TM) XFV(TM), at Hiller Aviation Museum's annual "Vertical Challenge" event in San Carlos, California. This one-day exhibit and air show, Saturday, June 23, will focus on past and present VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) aircraft and is expected to draw thousands of attendees. A wide array of aircraft will be displayed including the most leading-edge concepts, like SoloTrek.

"We are absolutely thrilled to have SoloTrek be part of `Vertical Challenge,'" said Willie Turner, marketing and public relations director, Hiller Aviation Institute. "This innovative product represents the ultimate concept in American ingenuity. Because this is the first time ever SoloTrek has been displayed to the public, we believe that Hiller Aviation Museum's `Vertical Challenge' event could set record attendance figures."

"SoloTrek has received an incredible amount of worldwide press over the last twelve months, but because it is a DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) sponsored program, there has never been an appropriate venue at which to publicly display the aircraft - until now," said Michael Moshier, Millennium Jet's chief executive officer. "We believe that exhibiting SoloTrek at the `Vertical Challenge' event provides a great opportunity for the public to see how their tax dollars are being spent."

SoloTrek is an open-air VTOL aircraft that will transport a person in an upright and standing position for up to two hours. Using readily available fuel, it is predicted to attain speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour and is designed to operate easily in and out of extremely confined areas.
