NFR Security Founder Selected for International Security Association Hall of Fame; Marcus Ranum Recognized For a Lifetime of Pioneering Network Security Projects

Ranum has been selected for induction into the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Hall of Fame.

ISSA, a not-for-profit international organization of security professionals, presented Mr. Ranum with its highest honor on June 6, 2001, in Reno, Nev. Induction into ISSA's Hall of Fame is bestowed upon individuals who "truly represent the voice of the security profession," according to Howard A. Schmidt, president of ISSA.

He has more than 12 years of experience in the security industry.
