World Gaming Expands Relationship With Number One Licensee; sportsbook.com, playersonly.com and acescasino.com Reach Exclusive Software Deal Until 2004

World Gaming plc (NASDAQ OTC:WGMGY), a global pioneer in I-gaming technologies, today announced it has reached an expanded agreement with its number one licensee, Internet Opportunity. During the past year, Internet Opportunity processed over $1.3 billion in wagers on behalf of its 80,000 customers, making it one of the largest providers of I-gaming entertainment in the industry.
The agreement will see www.sportsbook.com, www.playersonly.com, and www.acescasino.com use World Gaming software exclusively until August of 2004. In addition, the existing U.S.$1.5 million loan to World Gaming from an affiliate of Internet Opportunity has been fully converted into equity by the issuance of World Gaming shares to AIM Investments Limited, a corporation organized in Gibraltar. In addition, Internet Opportunity has agreed to collaborate with World Gaming on additional business opportunities in Europe.
