Dana Kopper, a senior vice president with Marsh Inc., has been named the Financial and Professional Services Practice (FINPRO) Leader for the Newport Beach and San Diego offices of Marsh Risk and Insurance Services.

Kopper has provided a broad range of governance and risk management consulting/transactional services to public and private businesses, and not-for-profit organizations for the past 23 years. He is a noted expert in governance design, corporate transparency, board effectiveness, director accountability, performance-related legal liability and associated risk mitigation strategies.

Previously, Kopper was chief operating officer of a leading corporate governance consulting firm. Kopper is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Corporate Directors Forum (CDF), International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS).
