Patriot Transportation Holding, Inc. (Nasdaq:PATR) announced its third-party agent/owner-operator subsidiary, Patriot Transportation, Inc., has been certified to ISO 9002.
Patriot Transportation, Inc. received its certification from the third-party registrar, ITS Intertek Services. ISO 9002 certification indicates to customers Patriot's high-level commitment to producing quality services. ISO 9002 is an internationally recognized quality management system, comprised of 21 highly involved elements that deal with an organization's structure, responsibilities, documentation, processes and resources used to produce a product and/or service. More than 100 countries participate in ISO and more than 100,000 companies worldwide subscribe to the common set of manufacturing, design and distribution systems of ISO.
