NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 2001
Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) has received 45 awards and recognitions for its digital and networked office products since the beginning of 2001. The distinctions include Editor's Choice awards from PC Magazine, Better Buys for Business and CRN magazine.
"Xerox has always been a leader in the office, and these awards reinforce our ability to provide customers with the best tool for the job," said Anne Mulcahy, Xerox president and chief operating officer. "Digital and networked office markets are key to the company's turnaround strategy, and we will continue sharpening our focus and developing technologically superior products with unbeatable quality and value."
The award-winning products are at the heart of Xerox's offerings for offices large and small, including Document Centre, DocuPrint, Phaser and WorkCentre Pro lines, which range from high-speed digital multifunction systems to solid ink color and laser black-and-white network printers.
Among the highlights, PC Magazine gave an Editor's Choice award to the Phaser 2135, a 21-ppm color printer that is more than three times faster than its closest competitor, the Hewlett-Packard Laser Jet 8550. Another Editor's Choice award went to the Phaser 790DP from CRN.
In addition, a series of Editor's Choice awards were given to the Document Centre 460, Document Centre 470 and Document Centre 480 digital multifunction systems in the Better Buys for Business 2001 High-Volume Copier & Multifunction Guide.
With speeds up to 90 ppm and prices starting at $499, Xerox has the broadest breadth of office products targeted to meet virtually any customer's needs.
Xerox office products are available through an expanding number of channels including resellers, dealers, agents, TeleWeb and the Xerox direct sales force. They are being showcased this week at PC Expo 2001, one of the IT industry's largest trade shows.
