dreams a reality
SAS Institute, the market leader in integrated data warehousing and e-intelligence, and its customer, Bank of America, today announced that they have been selected as finalists in the eCRM category of this year's RealWare awards program.
CMP Media's Business Intelligence Group, featuring Intelligent Enterprise and Transform magazines, recognized companies with outstanding implementations of technology in the enterprise.
According to Clark Abrahams, Bank of America's senior vice president of community banking, "Bank of America is making the dream of owning a home come true for thousands of low-income and minority families in the United States every year. With help from SAS, the bank is exploring how technology can be used to further these efforts. What SAS brings to the table is the methodology and the knowledge of the science. Bank of America brings together the business knowledge and the knowledge of banking and understanding the customers' needs. The result is bundled solutions. And it's been a very effective partnership."
"SAS' success comes from listening to the needs of our customers and partnering with them to provide e-intelligence, data warehousing, CRM and other integrated technologies to help achieve their business goals," said Jim Davis, SAS' senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "Bank of America is a leader in the ability to identify and mitigate fair-lending risk by using scientific methods to ensure that the bank adheres to the Fair Housing Act, and to communicate appropriate, appealing promotions to their customers and prospective customers through several channels. It takes vendors and customers working together as partners to develop real business solutions and build real business value."
"RealWare Awards finalists demonstrated a high level of innovation and significant business impact," said David M. Kalman, group publisher of CMP Media's Business Intelligence Group. "The RealWare Awards recognize real-world solutions that produce measurable business advantages and innovative use of information technology in the enterprise, awarding both the vendor and its customer that is implementing the winning solution."
