ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 2001--(NARM)

Music fans shopping at Djangos stores on the west coast will soon be able to download digital music directly to MP3 players via MUSICTELLER(TM), an in-store ATM-like device that gives consumers access to digital music when they are away from their homes. In addition to making digital music available to its customers, Djangos will be using MUSICTELLER to help stimulate sales of digital audio players by offering promotional music to customers who purchase MP3 players.

Djangos plans to place MUSICTELLERS in Portland, Seattle, and Bellevue stores as well as their Los Angeles UCLA location during the third quarter of this year. Customers who purchase or already own a Nike or Rio digital audio player will be able to plug in to the MUSICTELLER and download music directly into their portable players.

"We are committed to offering innovative, customer-focused enhancements online and within each store," said Steve Wood, CEO of Djangos. "ETC Music and MUSICTELLER will enable us to extend this commitment by bringing digital music to our customers in a cutting-edge and user-friendly fashion."

"We are delighted to be bring MUSICTELLERS to Djangos stores," said Mark Hardie, CEO and Founder of ETC Music, makers of MusicTeller. "Their desire to bring digital music to their customers make Djangos a natural fit for MUSICTELLER. We look forward to working with them as we move toward our rollout later this year."

MUSICTELLER is a convenient and simple way to get digital music away from home. The MUSICTELLER works like an ATM except that it dispenses music directly into MP3 players. The Teller uses a simple touch screen that allows customers to choose songs, plug in an MP3 player, and download their music in just a few minutes. The TELLER supports a variety of different digital audio players including the Nike PSA 60 and 120 and the Rio 600 and 800. MUSICTELLER makes sense for people on the go, because it allows them to buy new music and access previously purchased music from a virtual music locker anytime, anywhere.

MUSICTELLER features songs from a growing number of leading record labels and established recording artists. Initially, the Djangos' MUSICTELLERS will offer music on a promotional basis. Moving forward, pricing will include inexpensive singles/songs, competitively priced multi-track titles, as well as special offers on live music or otherwise rare or unreleased material.
