John Adams, CTO of RSA Security, to Join Sygate Advisory Board

Sygate(R) Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class Internet security software solutions, is pleased to announced that John Adams, Chief Technology Officer at RSA Security has joined Sygate's Advisory Board.

Mr. Adams is a recognized and respected leader in the network security industry. As CTO for RSA Security, he is responsible for overseeing the technical strategy of the company and managing RSA Laboratories, a research and advanced development group. Prior to holding this position, John Adams was senior vice president of Engineering at Security Dynamics, (renamed RSA Security in 1999). Prior to Security Dynamics, Mr. Adams worked for Digital Equipment Corporation from 1976 to 1996, during which time he held a number of positions in engineering, product management, marketing and strategic planning including vice president of Network Operating Systems. Mr. Adams' education includes Bachelors degrees from Harvard University and Tufts University. He received a Masters degree in Engineering from Tufts University in 1966, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1973.
