Actuate Chief Financial Officer, Dan Gaudreu, Joins BiTMICRO NETWORKS' Board of Directors; Executive Anticipates Network Storage Industry Leadership for Company

BiTMICRO NETWORKS Inc., developer of high performance flash disk, solid-state disk and network storage solutions, today announced Dan Gaudreu, Actuate (Nasdaq:ACTU) senior vice president, finance and administration and chief financial officer has joined the company's board of directors.
"Dan Gaudreu brings over 25 years of high-tech financial expertise to our board," said Rey H. Bruce, founder and chairman of the board of directors of BiTMICRO NETWORKS. "He'll provide the guidance we need to keep our business financially robust as we grow with and in our industry," added Bruce.
Before joining Actuate, Gaudreu served as vice president, finance and CFO of Plantronics Inc. where he helped the company achieve record earnings in the two fiscal years following the firm's IPO.
Prior to Plantronics, Gaudreu closed 1992's second largest private equity placement when he worked as vice president, finance and operations and CFO at Ready Systems, developers of software design tools. Prior to Ready Systems, he spent about two years as controller of Fremont manufacturing operations for Apple Computer.
Prior to Apple, he was employed 18 years with General Electric where he held various financial management positions in industries such as medical equipment, factory automation and computer aided design software.
