PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2001
Dialogic, an Intel company and the leading provider of building blocks for next generation network services, today announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Pracom, a leading telecommunications technology company.
Under the terms of the agreement, Pracom will provide technology for Dialogic's industry-leading family of open communications building blocks for circuit switched and next generation networks. This will enable Dialogic developers to quickly and easily build scaleable, multi-chassis and high availability voice communications solutions for advanced public network services, including voice portals and Web-enabled call centers.
This technology combines resource management with a distributed architecture for maximum flexibility, scalability and performance. Used within Dialogic media server building blocks, this technology will decrease the time-to-market for developers by making it easier to create and deploy carrier-grade services such as unified messaging and pre-paid communications solutions.
"By using the Pracom technology in our family of open communications building blocks, Dialogic is continuing its commitment to provide our customers with the critical components necessary to build next generation infrastructure and advanced service platforms for converged communications networks," said Rob Gowans, vice president of Service Provider Systems at Dialogic.
"Global telecommunications operators are required to deploy advanced services at a greater pace than ever before," said Paul Villanti, chief executive officer for Pracom. "Through this agreement, Dialogic and Pracom are offering the scalability and interoperability developers need to respond to this increasing demand."
