WHAT:       The Atlanta Hawks and the Fannie Mae Foundation, Atlanta's
            Home Team, will join Peoplestown Revitalization
            Corporation to landscape the yard on a new single-family
            home that will be sold to a low- to moderate-income
            family. Peoplestown Revitalization Corporation is managing
            the workday and overseeing the construction of eight homes
            with the help of a $100,000 grant from the Fannie Mae
            Foundation and $15,000 from the Atlanta Hawks' fundraising
            efforts.

BACKGROUND: Atlanta's Home Team, in its sixth year, is a partnership
            between the Fannie Mae Foundation and the Atlanta Hawks;
            its goals are to revitalize neighborhoods and provide free
            home-buying information to help Atlanta residents achieve
            the dream of homeownership. Since the Home Team
            partnership began in 1995, Atlanta's Home Team has funded
            the rehabilitation of 19 homes in Atlanta neighborhoods
            with $601,500 in Fannie Mae Foundation grants and $63,500
            from the Hawks' fundraisers.

            The Fannie Mae Foundation creates affordable homeownership
            and housing opportunities through innovative partnerships
            and initiatives that build healthy, vibrant communities
            across the United States.
