AMBI Inc. Changes Its Name to Nutrition 21, Inc.; New Nasdaq Trading Symbol is NXXI

AMBI Inc. (Nasdaq: AMBI) today announced that its shareholders have approved a change in the Company's name to Nutrition 21, Inc.

The name change is effective immediately. The trading symbol of the common stock of the Company on the NASDAQ national market system will become NXXI effective Friday, March 9, 2001.
