Juno Adds Veteran Internet and Media Industry Executive, Tom Phillips, to Board of Directors

Juno Online Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: JWEB) today announced that Thomas L. Phillips, Jr. has joined its board of directors.
Juno is one of the nation's largest Internet access providers, with 14.2 million total registered subscribers as of December 31, 2000 and 4.0 million active subscribers in the month of December.
Mr. Phillips most recently served as chief executive officer of Deja.com, whose industry-leading Usenet news service was recently acquired by Google, and whose precision buying service was acquired by eBay's Half.com. Previously, Mr. Phillips served as president of ESPN Internet Ventures and ABC News Internet Ventures, and prior to that he was a senior vice president at Starwave Corporation. Mr. Phillips holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Harvard College.
