HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 2001

Structure Consulting Group LLC, an international software and consulting company providing integrated solutions for the deregulated energy industry, announced today that it will become The Structure Group, effective immediately.

Structure chief executive officer David Hallam said the name change reflects the company's growth to include not only consulting services but innovative software solutions as well.

"As we celebrate Structure's third birthday, it is appropriate to recognize how we have grown from a two-person consulting shop in my backyard to a software and consulting services company with 200 professionals, four offices and a global industry presence," Hallam said.

The Structure Group will continue to offer expertise in such areas as trading and risk management, market readiness, market settlements, enterprise architecture integration, data warehousing and product implementation. In addition, Structure will continue the development of software products that enable asset-backed trading organizations to manage energy trades and ancillary service bidding in complex regional markets.

"Our philosophy has always been that energy market participants need deep industry expertise and external solutions delivered quickly," Hallam said. "Our clients have consistently asked us to help them compete in the new energy economy. We've positioned ourselves to do this with best business practices and innovative software solutions."
